Film, Coating, or Both
These get pitched as competing products. They are not. One absorbs impact and one changes surface chemistry, and knowing which problem you are solving decides where the money goes.

The usual result of that table is film across the front and a coating over the entire car, including over the film itself.
Is PPF Worth It in the Las Vegas Heat?
Short answer: yes, if your car spends real time on the 215 or I-15. Nevada sun runs paint through a harsher UV cycle than most of the country sees, and desert grit turns ordinary gravel into a sandblaster at freeway speed. PPF is the only one of the two protective options above that physically stops a stone chip before it reaches your clear coat. A ceramic coating makes washing easier and adds gloss, but it will not stop a chip.
The math that matters: a single respray on a bumper or hood after a bad chip usually costs more than the Front End Package covers on this page, and it never matches factory paint exactly. Film that is actually taking the hits instead of your paint is the cheaper problem to have, especially on a car you are planning to keep or sell in the next few years. An unmarked front end holds resale value better than a touched-up one.

What PPF Doesn't Fix
PPF is not a fix for existing damage, and it is not permanent. A few things worth knowing before you book.
It will not hide what is already there. Chips, swirls, or oxidation on the paint underneath stay locked in unless we correct the paint first, which is why paint prep comes before film in our process, not after. It is also not forever: quality urethane runs 7 to 10 years before edges or clarity start to go, and Nevada's UV load sits at the aggressive end of that range, so we check edges at service visits rather than assume the clock resets itself.
Cheap film is a real risk. Off-brand or thin film yellows early and can be harder to remove cleanly years later. This is the one place in auto customization where the bulk-bought discount option usually costs more over the ownership life of the car. And while quality film comes off clean without touching the factory clear coat underneath, which is useful if you are selling the car, removal is a shop job, not a driveway one.

Typical turnaround: a Front End Package is usually a same-day job. Full Front End and Full Vehicle coverage on complex panel cars typically run 2 to 3 days start to finish, since one-piece panels need to come off for full-coverage film to lay right.
Our Warranty
Quality PPF installs at Lusso are backed by a manufacturer warranty of up to 10 years against yellowing, cracking, and edge lift under normal conditions.
Avoid pressure washers aimed directly at film edges and harsh solvents, since those are the most common way an otherwise-warrantied install gets damaged after the fact.
Las Vegas Areas We Take Paint Protection Film Work From
Every PPF install happens at our Henderson bay, which sits off the 215 and keeps most of the valley inside a half hour drive. What we see coming out of each area is different, so the coverage we recommend is too.
Summerlin
Around 30 minutes via the 215 Beltway
Long Beltway commutes at speed. Hood leading edge and mirror caps take the worst of it, so extended front is the usual call.
The Strip corridor
Around 20 minutes via I-15 or Las Vegas Blvd
Low speed valet and curb contact rather than stone chips. Bumper corners and rocker areas matter more here.
Southwest and Enterprise
Around 20 minutes via the 215
Active construction corridors throw gravel year round. Partial front rarely covers enough on these cars.
Spring Valley
Around 25 minutes via the 215
Mixed surface streets and freeway. Front bumper, hood, and headlights cover most of the real risk.
North Las Vegas
Around 35 minutes via I-15 and the 215
Heavy truck traffic on I-15 means more debris at highway speed. Windshield adjacent panels get flagged during the walkthrough.
Boulder City and Lake Mead
Around 25 minutes via US-93
Open desert routes with sand blast on the lower body. Rockers and A-pillars are worth adding to the package.
Centennial Hills
Around 40 minutes via the 215
Longest run in the valley, so we schedule these as single drop offs and keep the car indoors until cure is done.
Paradise and the airport area
Around 15 minutes via I-215
Short hop from Harry Reid, which makes it practical to drop a car before a trip and collect it on return.
Where to go next with film
Most owners who wrap the front end also want the rest of the car to stay clean, so film is usually paired with a ceramic coating over the whole vehicle, including on top of the film itself. If the paint already has swirls or chips, we handle that first through paint correction and detailing so the film is not locking damage under it.
