They also produce programs for the GLE, GLS, S-Class, AMG GT, and other Mercedes platforms. If you're not driving a Mercedes, Brabus isn't your option.

Aesthetic

Brabus designs are aggressive but disciplined. The Widestar's widened fender flares, for example, are proportioned to look like they belong on the G-Wagon, not like they were added. There's a Germanic engineering precision to Brabus aesthetics. The finished vehicle looks more purposeful, not just wider.

Brabus product is manufactured in Germany to exacting standards. Genuine Brabus parts are expensive, but the fitment precision and material quality reflect that. The replica market for Brabus is enormous, there are cheap G-Wagon Widestar kits on the market that look close in photos and fail in person. Authentic Brabus sourced through authorized channels is a different product.

Urban Automotive is a UK-based design and engineering house focused specifically on luxury SUV modification. They don't produce mechanical upgrades, their expertise is exterior body programs that transform the visual presence of premium SUVs. Their aesthetic is more fashion-forward than Brabus, carbon fiber accents, wide arch kits, and grille programs designed to make these vehicles look like they belong somewhere exclusive.

Vehicle Coverage

Urban's primary platforms are Range Rover (L460 and L405), Land Rover Defender, and Rolls-Royce Cullinan. They also produce programs for select other luxury SUVs. If you're driving a Range Rover or Defender, Urban is the dominant premium option, there's nothing in their tier for those platforms that competes with their product level.

Aesthetic

Urban Automotive's aesthetic is high-visibility luxury. Wide carbon fiber arches on a Range Rover. Aggressive front splitters on a Cullinan. The finished vehicle looks like a custom commission from a design house, because that's essentially what it is. More visually expressive than Brabus, more fashion-oriented, and perfectly suited to the Las Vegas market where these vehicles are driven to be seen.
